March is the Month of the Internet in the Czech Republic. The campaign was first launched five years ago in order to draw attention to the importance of the worldwide information highway for economic and social development at a time when few people were aware of it in the Czech Republic. has more.

On Saturday evening, the country's film scene came together at Prague's Lucerna Hall, which hosted the ninth annual Cesky Lev, or Czech Lion, film awards. Sixteen feature films were made in this country last year - of those, seven received nominations from the Czech Film and Television Academy and five received awards. More from :
