Rosa Taikon & Katarina Taikon Narodily se ve Švédsku. Starší Katarina se proslavila jako autorka předvším dětské literatury, psala švédsky a romsky a její knihy jsou v celé Skandinávii populární jako u nás býval Kája Mařík. Do češtiny však dosud nebyla žádná z jejích knih přeložena. Mladší Rosa začalo v dospělosti navštěvovat Uměleckou školu ve městě Birka Gord, kde se zaměřila na výrobu stříbrných šperku. První samostatnou výstavu šperků měla v roce 1989. The Kalderash sisters born in Tibro, Sweden, Rosa (1926) and Katarina (1932) Taikon travelled with their family, they were not allowed to attend school, so they finished their education via the adult Romani community. Rosa is a silversmith who makes art in the form of jewelry. Her first exhibition was in 1969. Katarina became famous for her writing, especially children's books. Katarina also published the journal Zienaren (the Gypsy), gave lectures and wrote articles on the situation of the Gypsies in Sweden.
