| Subject of the stamp: | a picture of the summer holiday published in the children book "Spectacular Views" written by F. Nepil and illustrated by the academic painter Miloslav Jágr (1927-1997). M. Jágr was a teacher of film and television graphic design at the Institute of Applied Arts. He was one of the leading authors of illustrations for children as well as adults and the author of theatre costumes, posters and graphic design. His works won national as well as international awards and are still alive. On the center of the lower part of the sheet there is situated hologram. |
